Graduates
We expect candidates to have a professional manner and to be enthusiastic and keen to learn.
It is not necessary for a candidate to have a degree in accounting or maths, but we would prefer a minimum of a 2:1. Depending on subjects studied, we may consider accepting a lower pass mark.
At Richardsons we offer the opportunity to experience a broad range of accounting specialities such as audit, corporate tax, personal tax and certain tax schemes. We deal with approximately 500 clients across a broad range of sectors and ranging from small to large companies.
You will work in a team with guidance from a line manager and have responsibility to deal directly with clients early on in your training.
While training at Richardsons you will study towards obtaining an ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) qualification. This is usually a residential course at Reed Business School, near Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds.
The costs of the above are all covered by Richardsons as part of your training contract, with the exception of exam retakes.
