We are delighted to announce that Richardsons have purchased a defibrillator unit. This has been installed on the side of our office building and registered for public use in the event of an emergency.
Having a defibrillator unit nearby significantly increases the chance of survival should an individual suffer cardiac arrest.
Jack Armstrong, one of the emergency first aiders at Richardsons, had to use a defibrillator on an individual several years ago. “Having been in a situation when a person collapsed, having a defibrillator machine that is local is vital to increase someone’s chance of survival”.
